The Easiest Halloween Dessert: Halloween Crack Recipe

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing The Easiest Halloween Dessert: Halloween Crack Recipe. This recipe is so delicious, easy, and a great crowd pleaser for your Halloween parties coming up. Keep reading to see how I made it and how ours turned out!

I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say this, but I am here for the famous TikTok recipes y’all. I’m not even sure how these recipes become so viral, but I’m glad that they do because they are delicious. One of my first favorites that we still make all the time is the Boursin Cheese Baked Pasta recipe. Seriously so good. Ever since then, I have been turning to TikTok for a lot of recipes when I’m not feeling creative enough to whip something up all on my own. In fact, it even inspired me to start my very own TikTok account solely dedicated to recipes! It’s called @whatashleyeats (be sure to give me a follow if you want to see more of these). I will be sharing all sorts of fall and Halloween themed recipes all season long!

Y’all know that I’m all about a good seasonal recipe. No matter what time of the year it is, I’m always looking for foods and desserts that will fill our home with yummy smells and amazing treats. I am here for this super easy and addicting (hence the reference to ‘crack’). Everyone at your next fall get together/halloween party will be raving about it! Here’s how to make it.

Halloween Crack Dessert:

  • Aluminum foil to cover baking sheet
  • Cover with saltine crackers
  • Add 2 sticks of butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract to pot over medium heat
  • Pour over saltine crackers
  • Spread so it covers evenly
  • Bake at 400 for 5 mins
  • Top with chocolate chips
  • Bake for 2 more mins
  • Spread melted chips so there’s an even layer of chocolate
  • Add Halloween sprinkles
  • Chill in fridge, crack, and eat

I hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as my family and I have! We most certainly will be making it again all throughout the rest of September and October while getting in the spirit for Halloween. Stay tuned for more seasonal recipes and be sure to follow me on all platforms so that you don’t miss a thing! Thanks for reading!
