Summer Drinks: How to Make a Jalapeno Limeade Margarita

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing my Summer Drinks: How to Make a Jalapeno Limeade Margarita! If you’re looking for a super refreshing, delicious, and little bit spicy cocktail – this is going to be your new go-to margarita for this spring/summer season. Keep reading to see how I made it and what makes it so fresh!

This perfect weekender drink will have you embracing these summer nights in no time. It is full-blown summer here in TN and I couldn’t be happier! Happier hours with friends are in full force, the kids are out of school so hello backyard patio hangs/play dates, at home date nights with the hubs? Yes please! Seasonal depression has been LIFTED! If you live in TN, the forecast looks aaaaamazing the rest of this week! We are actually heading to Florida as a family next weekend and I’m super excited to make this while we’re on vacay. What is better than a margarita ocean side with your feet in the sand? Not much!

What’s that TikTok video that’s like “I swear I just stepped outside and the sun whispered in my ear to get drunk”… that may or may not be this weekend. Don’t mom shame me. The kids will have a nice refreshing margarita mocktail going too. Check out the ingredients and how to make this Jalapeno Limeade Margarita BELOW:

RECIPE:

  • Chile & Cucumber Tequila
  • Chile Lime Seasoning (I get it from Trader Joes – you can also use Tajin Seasoning)
  • Fresh lime
  • Trader Joes Jalapeno Lime – Organic lime juice beverage
  • Ice

HOW TO MAKE:

  • Add Chile Lime Seasoning to a plate
  • Coat rim of cocktail glass with fresh lime juice
  • Dip rim into seasoning until the entire rim is covered
  • Add a handful of ice
  • Add 2oz of Chile & Cucumber Tequila
  • Fill the rest of the glass with Jalapeno Lime juice
  • Optional: garnish with fresh lime or jalapeno slices
