Halloween is here and although it may look a bit different this year, we can still have fun right? I’ll be honest I miss the big Halloween parties so just for kicks I decided to make a bunch of yummy Halloween recipes to get us in the spooky mood. (and of course some Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic) So what did I make? Well I couldn’t go without creating a fun Halloween board. I found this awesome plank last year at the Nordstrom sale and it has served its purpose many times since. Most of my home decor and treats are from Mackenzie Childs and Target. I did drive up pickup for Target.
Halloween Snack Ideas
Dessert Board
Hershey’s has a ton of candy that come in shapes like fangs, ghosts, pumpkins, Frankenstein, tombstones that made creating the board a lot of fun. Since I love charcuterie and dessert boards I thought this would be a fun adventure for the girls and I to take on and EAT!
Themed Popcorn & “Slime”
I found Jello edible slime at target and thought Keatyn would absolutely love it since she loves slime so much. She was too freaked to eat it but she sure loved playing with it. The popcorn is from Marigold Popcorn in Nashville and they have the cutest themes and fall flavors, I’m super excited to experience their Christmas flavors. You can purchase it here in Nashville or have it shipped but I am also attaching the ingredients they use if you wanna attempt at home but can’t guarantee it’ll taste as good:
Witch’s Dust: Their witch dust popcorn is a blend of garlic, onion and poppyseeds. If you’re obsessed with everything but bagel like me, this is your guy. It was my favorite!
Hocus Pocus Mix: Buttery popcorn with a milk chocolate drizzle, pretzels, candy corn and M&Ms. This one was the perfect balance of salty and sweet.
Chuck’s Cheddar: Although this movie scarred me as a kid, this was a crowd please in the Houston House. Its made with real cheddar.
Pumpkin Spice Kettle: I loved their spin on the classic kettle corn. I’m not a huge pumpkin flavor person but Matt was a huge fan.
Make sure to check them out and order for your next fun at home get together or just to eat with the fam as a special treat for movie night.
