My JLo Beauty Review: That Limitless Glow – Hydrating Gel Mask experience:
Let’s start out by saying this momma has some dry skin and it gets dehydrated very easily. When I found out JLo was coming out with a skincare line I was half skeptical like “is this really was she used” and half intrigued because well, look at her. So I saw her post on her IG about her That Limitless Glow – Hydrating Gel Mask and her skin was just luminous so I had to test it out myself.
First thoughts:
The packaging was so luxurious but that’s no shock with who is behind it. When I opened the package I was honestly a bit perplexed since it was not like a mask I had ever used before. It’s two separate pieces and as you can see in my Instagram reel, it somewhat reminds me of a mummy or The Weekend when he went through whatever that was with the bandages. But I didn’t let that deter me.
After I figured how to apply it, I actually enjoyed the fact that it loops around your ears not only because that keeps the mask from sliding around but guaranteed it covers your entire face. It was nice to be able to go about my day for the next 20 minutes without constantly adjusting the mask like most others. I could feel the mask tighten and it honestly felt pretty nice. After I took the mask off I rubbed all the serums on my neck and had to wipe away some residue from my hairline.
Ok honey y’all know I’ll spit the truth here and this was my own test, no sponsorship, it wasn’t even gifted. I bought it on my own. This mask gave me the most illuminated skin. It felt supple and so luminous. I definitely would make sure to do it in the morning so you can take advantage of that glow all day or for an evening event. It gives you the Paris filter without the filter 🙌🏻
Is it worth it? Would I purchase again?
At $18 a mask, I personally say if you are able to afford it, it definitely is. I will continue to purchase. I would suggest taking advantage of the remaining serum in the package and rubbing into your neck, décolletage and back of hands. I’m linking it below so y’all can try it out for yourself!
