Whether you’re prepping for a birthday party, a Cinco de Mayo celebration, or just a good ‘ole fiesta for Taco Tuesday like our family did – I’ve got some tips, recipes, and more to share with you! Thanks to Oriental Trading, I got all your party decor necessities. Oriental Trading is my go-to for all things party planning and decor. So in honor of Cinco de Mayo last month, they supplied me with all the party props & decor to have our very own fiesta!
We love food in this house, especially tacos. So when I saw my chance to throw a fiesta party and eat some good food, that’s what I did!
Outside, we decorated the table with the items I listed above! Also put up a giant “Fiesta this way!” cardboard cutout and cactus ring toss.
FOOD/DRINKS:
- chips & salsa/guacamole/queso (I love Siete foods grain free lime chips and their cashew queso)
Taco Salad:
- ground beef (can substitute with chicken, veggies, etc.)
- shredded cheese
- chopped scallions
- sour cream
- chopped jalapeños
- limes/lime juice
- Taylor Farm’s “SALSA RANCH” Salad Kit
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and serve!
I always try to keep it simple when throwing any type of party just because you’re so caught up in every detail that you don’t wanna cook elaborate food on top of that if you can help it. Fiesta night is easy because you can make Mexican themed food so easily. I love how Taylor Farms Chopped Salad kits make serving tacos or a salad a cinch. You can find them HERE.

INSTRUCTIONS:
*SERVING SIZE MAKES 2*
Place strawberries, jalapeño, lime juice, stevia, orange juice, and tequila in blender and blend on high until fully combined.
Take a lime wedge and swirl around the rim of each glass. Dip the glass in sea salt to coat the rim. Add ice to each glass if not frozen margaritas.
Pour margaritas into glass. Use strawberries and jalapeño slices to garnish.
