Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing my Harry Potter Reunion Inspired: “Mischief Managed” Cocktail Recipe! If you’ve been watching the Harry Potter reunion, then you know how necessary this is. Keep reading to find out how to make this amazing cocktail and see how ours turned out!
Okay. I’m not even going to lie, I’ve been crying my eyes out watching this reunion. If you’re a Harry Potter fan at all, you would tear up at this reunion. This Harry Potter Reunion special takes you on a magical journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time featuring our favorites: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and many more. You can watch this special on HBO Max!
As far as this amazing cocktail goes… well, it was inspired by one of Nashville’s very own! Church & Union is a new restaurant/bar here that we are absolutely loving! At Church & Union you can find an “industrial-chic hub offering wines, cocktails & choice dishes made with locally sourced ingredients”! When I saw that they had created a Harry Potter themed cocktail, I just had to recreate it and share it with y’all. Not only does the holiday season get you totally in the mood to watch Harry Potter movies, but butter beer does too. This cold weather cocktail is an elevated and sophisticated version of the iconic butter beer. The recipe goes like this:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ounce spiced rum
- 1/2 ounce butterscotch schnapps
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 ounce of brown sugar simple syrup
- 3 ounces of cream soda
- 1/2 ounce of cream
- garnish with cinnamon stick
HOW TO MAKE:
- Shake all ingredients (except for the cream soda) in a cocktail shaker with ice
- Pour into a fancy cocktail glass of your choosing
- Top with cream soda
- Garnish with cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon
- Pair this winter cocktail with a delicious dessert of your choosing
