Hi friends! Today I’m sharing how to achieve this perfect Fall Hairstyle without using heat on your hair! I’m sharing some of my new favorite Heatless Curlers and some tips and tricks to perfecting the technique when using your own. Keep reading to see how I achieved this look and why it can be so much better than using heat on your hair!
Beachy hair, don’t care. I have been cursed/blessed with this odd hair texture that looks like I’ve put half of it in braids overnight. Some of it is fairly straight and some is super wavy. It’s taken me years to actually love my hair texture and accept the “I love your hair texture” compliments without cringing. I know so many of you struggle with this hair type and are curious how to style it. I have been playing around with so many different products and techniques for years trying to master it (after failing multiple times with so called curl perfecting products) and I really feel like I finally have it down.
These heatless curlers have been a game changer for me when it comes to enhancing my natural hair! I am able to achieve a more streamlined look throughout my head of hair and only have minimal touch ups in the morning. So what product do I use? I was recently introduced to a brand called Octocurl and they have a huge variety of textures, colors, and lengths of product. TIPS & TRICKS:
– Start with slightly damp hair and allow to completely dry for best curl set
– Place as a headband with the front elastic up close to the hairline (remove the front elastic after wrapping for comfort) or adjust to the smallest setting and place it high on the head like a flower crown
– For loose curls wrap on a diagonal and use 2-4 single strips
– For spiral curls wrap on a horizontal and use single strips
– Fold the end of the strip up over the ends of your hair before securing with the elastic loop. This will protect your ends from crimping
