Hi friends! Today I’m sharing my Drinks: Boozy Cherry Limeade Recipe. If you’re looking for a super refreshing, delicious, and all around tasty cocktail – this is going to be your new go-to drink for this summer/fall season. Keep reading to see how I made it and what makes it so fresh!
This perfect weekender drink will have you embracing these cooler soon-to-be fall Tennessee nights in no time. Happier hours with friends are in full force, the kids are heading back to school, at home date nights with the hubs? Yes please! Seasonal depression has been LIFTED! If you live in TN, you know it’s been hotter than the devils armpit up in here. I have been so excited for fall I can hardly stand it! We love entertaining during the fall too as it’s so much nicer to enjoy the patio and outdoor evenings (without feeling like you’re sweating up a storm).
You’re lying if you didn’t used to order Cherry Limeade Slushi’s at Sonic and not slip a little vodka in there… Maybe a was just a degenerate early twenty year old. But who am I kidding, I’m in my late thirties now and it’s DELICIOUS. Plus, this version is zero sugar 🙂 Because we don’t have time for hangovers at this age do we ladies?
What’s that TikTok video that’s like “I swear I just stepped outside and the sun whispered in my ear to get drunk”… that may or may not be this weekend. Don’t mom shame me. The kids will have a nice refreshing mocktail going too. What’s better?! This cocktail is unreal easy to make and you probably already have all of the ingredients at home.
INGREDIENTS:
- Cherry Smirnoff Vodka
- Topo Chico
- Ice
- Fresh lime
- 1 packet of Cherry Limeade Zero Sugar Sonic
HOW TO MAKE:
- Add ice to your cocktail glass
- Pour 1 shot of Cherry Smirnoff Vodka into glass
- Fill with Topo Chico
- Add 1 full packet of Sonic Cherry Limeade Zero Sugar
- Stir
- Add a fresh squeeze of lime juice
- Garnish with lime wedge (you can also garnish with cherries if you’d like)
- ENJOY!
