Changing Your Mood With Bold Colors: Rainbow Sundress
Summer is almost over but especially here in Tennessee the fashion sure isn’t! It stays hot here until pretty much November so you’re probably not gonna wanna put away the summer gear just yet. I have LOVED rocking bold colors this summer and I’m such a fan of striped anything so when I saw this rainbow sundress it was a must. It’s so easy to get in a rut of wearing black and grey (trust me I fall into the habit often) but do you think wearing bright colors can help elevate your mood?
If you think about it, staying black and grey is easy and convenient. What doesn’t go with black, white or grey? It’s great for the people like me who don’t like to draw attention to themselves. But maybe you should. I decided to test it out and go out of my element this summer. They say the color black is like a security blanket. I can relate, it’s always my go to. But I never truly feel special when I wear it. I also just get nervous when matching and mixing colors though. My confidence level isn’t the highest when it comes to playing with he color wheel and patterns. I’m sure most of you can relate.

So after implementing more color into my wardrobe of doom this summer I must say I can see how colors make a difference. It raised my confidence level in a weird way plus I oddly felt really fashion forward. I got so many compliments on the rainbow sundress above in particular. I think if you’re like me and hesitant to go outside the box with color, just give it a shot and see how you feel. Pick that one piece that catches your eye but you never thought you could pull off.
