Hello babes! Today I’m sharing my Beauty: 5 Products to Transition to your Winter Skincare Routine. If nobody has ever told you this should be a priority, I’m telling you now and letting you know why! As we get older, our skin continues to become more fragile, hence, why we need to take even better care of it when there are dramatic weather changes. Keep reading to find out what products that I’m recommending you amp up for you Winter Skincare Routine this year!
I wasn’t always super conscious of what I was putting on my skin. When you’re younger and not really too worried about fine lines, wrinkles, or aging, you typically just stick to whats cheap and what makes you feel like you’re participating in some sort of “beauty regimen” in the morning or at night. The truth is, there is a lot more that goes into taking care of your skin than drugstore quality moisturizer. I have learned to romanticize my skincare routine as anyone should! Consider it self-care. Take a nice warm shower at night, put on a cozy robe, light a candle, throw on some essentials oils, pluck your brows, and get to that nighttime skincare regimen! Self-care should never feel like a chore. Your future self will ALWAYS thank you for taking care of yourself even when you don’t feel like it in the moment. It’s easy to be lazy, fall asleep with your makeup on, or maybe just use a face wipe and calling it a day. I hate to be the bearer of bad news ladies, but a face wipe is NEVER going to cut it. Heartbreaking, I know.
Moral of the story is you don’t have to be bummed out that your morning and nighttime routine got a little longer. Think of it as you’re contributing to looking good and feeling good and you’ll have a better start and end to your day because of it!
