BEST PEPPER STEAK RECIPE + EASY “HOMEADE” HORSERADISH BUTTER
If you’re wondering what a little piece of heaven tastes like, well this is it…my husband requested me to make it to tonight so like the sweet wife I am, I did. I posted a few stories on Instagram and had a few requests so I’m posting it on the blog. It’s so good y’all, I’ve been making it for Matt for years. You can also use any preference of steak. We personally prefer NY strip or filet.
Best Pepper Steak Recipe:
Ingredients (Serves 2-3) Cook time 28 minutes.
2 pieces of steak of preference
2 tsp Pepper
2 tbsp Whipping Cream
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
2 tsp Dijon Mustard
2 tbsp water
Directions Step by Step:
- Press the edges of beef into the black pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat until a drop of water sizzles and evaporates quickly.
- Cook beef in the skillet, turning frequently, until browned on all sides (8-10 minutes for medium rare) Transfer to serving plate to keep warm.
- Combine balsamic vinegar and mustard in a small bowl and mix. Add to hot skillet drippings and mix. Add whipping cream and water. Bring to a boil, stirring.
- Cook until thickened, spoon over beef.
I top with horseradish butter I prepare. You can store in refrigerator for future use. Mix 1 cup softened butter, 8 oz. softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup Primal kitchen mayo and 1/4 cup horseradish.
I usually make it with a salad, roasted veggies or sautéed kale./arugula and mushrooms. It’s SO good guys, you’ll love it. I love cooking and sharing recipes with you guys so I hope you love my best pepper steak recipe. Xo.
