Valentine’s Day Dessert: Heart Tart

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing How to Make a Valentine’s Day Dessert: Heart Tart! Keep reading to see how ours turned out and see the essentials that you need to put your very own together! This is the cutest dessert idea if you’re looking to make a statement AND make people’s mouth water.

What are y’all’s plans for the big V-Day this year? At this point, we have kind of done it all. I have just as much fun celebrating with the kids as I do going out on the town with my hubs! Lately, we have found a way to all enjoy it together as a family. The last few years, we have stayed home and participated in all kinds of fun arts and crafts, yummy foods, tasty beverages (for the adults), dance parties, and movies. Valentine’s Day can look a little different than some crazy “Christian Grey helicopter to the city” type night out believe it or not…

For those momma’s that have just as much fun at home with your loved ones on Valentine’s Day, I highly recommend whipping up this easy and delicious Valentine’s Day Heart Tart that your friends and/or family can enjoy! Check out how we made it below:

HOW TO MAKE:

  • tear pieces of pillsbury crescent roll along dotted line
  • lay out dough in a vertical line
  • mix one block of cream cheese w/ 5 tbsp of sugar
  • spread over dough
  • spread with cherry preserve over top of cream cheese mixture
  • bake on 375 for 15 mins
  • sprinkle with powdered sugar
  • Serve warm
