Gin Euphoria Cocktail Recipe: Season 2 Inspired

Hi loves! Today I’m sharing a Gin Euphoria Cocktail Recipe: Season 2 Inspired by a TikTok that I saw the other day! If you’ve never seen Euphoria, you’re in for a wild ride. I highly recommend going and watching it before you read this, and the cocktail may make more sense after you’ve seen it. Heck, actually – just go ahead and make it now BEFORE you watch. You’re probably going to need it.

Okay, I’m being dramatic. This cocktail recipe is delicious whether you’re into the show or not. Plus , it’s glittery, festive, tasty, and amazing. So before you judge me for being a 30 year old that is into this show, the cocktail is just plain good and refreshing. However, I will take full ownership for loving the show. If you’ve seen it, you know that it’s super addicting. You really can’t take your eyes off it because you don’t know what super bizarre thing is going to happen on the screen next! You can watch Euphoria season 1 and now 2 on HBO Max!

Warning: it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. It is all things teenage raunchy, drugs, alcohol, and more. What I love about it the most is it’s focus on mental health and how big of a real problem it is for kids in high school these days. Mental health illness has always been around, but society has never talked about it the way we openly do now. I like how the show highlights some of the absolute darkest things that teenagers and young adults are going through. The pressure of social media, body image, prestige, and more! It’s honestly refreshing to see a show take an angle where they don’t dance around the idea that some people may really be relating to some of these characters.

Is it super scary to think about as a mom? Hell yes. Sometimes I watch this show and think there is no way that my little girls would ever struggle like some of these characters do. Well, it’s very important to remember that it IS a show and it is made for ENTERTAINMENT. But there are little truths to everything. I believe it’s super important that we as parents open our eyes to the terrible but real life things out there. We can’t protect them forever, but it’s important to remember that they look up to you every single day. Everything you say to them, sticks. Whether you think it does or not. Somewhere in their subconscious, they are always picking up on elements in their environment and their relationships. It is our job to help them be the best versions of themselves while also letting them flourish! Again, if you haven’t watched the show yet, you’ll understand where I’m getting at after you do. Even though this is relevant regardless I think.

ANYWAYS – rant over. Here’s how you make this super tasty Gin Euphoria Cocktail Recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

  • Fill one of your favorite cocktail glasses up half way with ice
  • Add a dash of edible glitter / I typically use the brand Prism Powder because it’s super visible and doesn’t just disappear when you add it to your drink! The more potent the sparkles, the better. Am I right?
  • Pour one or two shots (whatever you prefer) of gin into your cocktail glass / I love to use Whitley Neil Handcrafted Gin – Rhubarb & Ginger Gin
  • Top off the rest of your glass with sparkling soda water / I used Fresca – Grapefruit Citrus flavor
  • Add two Luxardo The Original Maraschino Cherries to a stirrer and place in drink for garnish + flavor
  • Give it a little stir & watch the Euphoria magic come to life!
  • Serve & enjoy!
