Hi everyone! Today I’m introducing my Top Art Deco Bathroom Decor Ideas. I’ve been so excited to share this space with y’all and the day is finally here!
If you’ve been following my home makeover journey over the past year, you know that it’s been quite the process. We have had so much fun putting out creative minds into our different spaces around the house! A recent passion in particular has developed however, and that’s for bathroom spaces.
Bathroom spaces are so much fun because you can make them as funky and unique as you want and it doesn’t throw off the rest of the house! I absolutely love the idea of having a bunch of different themed bathrooms throughout the house. Whether you’re using crazy wallpaper, decor, accessories such as hand towels, soap dispensers, etc., there are so many fun opportunities to go wild with a theme!
With that being said, making over our guest bedroom was so much fun. We decided to go with an Art Deco vibe! Never heard of Art Deco? Let me break it down for ya! Art Deco is basically a combination of visual arts, design, and architecture that first appeared in Europe between 1895 and 1900!
Now what does Art Deco mean for decorating a space? Well, it could look like bringing all the glitz, glamor, and geometric beauty of the Great Gatsby Era in. By adding bold geometry, rich colors, and extreme detail work to your decor pieces, you will be accomplishing this look in no time! This is a great way to elevate any space.
We chose this for our guest bathroom specifically because our thought process was anyone that was coming to stay with us would be able to experience a little oasis in their guest space! We always want our guests to feel welcome and like they are having a homey/luxurious stay. Adding these special touches to this bathroom space definitely accomplished our idea!
Let’s jump into the visuals that you see here in the photos to see what we changed to achieve our Art Deco space!
- Great Gatsby theme tile from Floor & Decor (yes it’s actually called Gatsby tile haha) – this was imperative for getting the look that we wanted and really transforming the space. This was the most expensive part of the transformation, but after we finished the tile we were able to pull all the other little decor pieces from it!
- Iron-Ore paint color by Sherwin Williams – we absolutely love this color so much that we made it universal in house to help it flow better with the bathroom as either an accent wall or as the primary color.
- Towels and artwork are from Society6 – artwork is everything for bringing your Art Deco space to life. You can’t say your space is “Art Deco” themed without having some ART! They have all kinds of unique prints and designs at Society6 and even if this vibe isn’t your thing, there bound to have something to fit your style.
- Mirror is from target and at only $80 it’s a fraction of the price of all other round mirrors like I’ve found. The one at CB2 is over $300
- Wall accessories from CB2
