There are two types of people in this world: One who is hanging onto the last parts of summer, dreading fall and everything it represents and then there are the people like me. The ones who as soon as September 1 hits, you start decorating for Halloween, reveling in pumpkin flavored anything and watching Hocus Pocus on repeat. Yep I’m a basic fall chick, I admit it with zero shame. So I decided after much pleading from the girls to throw them a little Halloween party. Luckily we have a Dollar General nearby and I got all my Halloween Party essentials + cute costumes for less than $60.
For costumes, I dressed Keatyn in all black for her witch costume along with a witch hat and broom and Charlie in a tiger shirt and added the cutest cat mask. ALL are $1.
I also picked up this cute kitty cat craft kit for the girls to do. For $1!

For snacks, I got crowd pleasers with chips and salsa, cracker and cheese, BBQ chips, Juice for the kiddos and mom juice for the adults. I also added in some candy as a treat for the kids. Who can resist candy corn during the fall?! Did you know Dollar General has a line of extremely reasonable food etc called Clover Valley. All of our snacks were CV and cost less than $5 for the food.
