Hi friends! Today I’m sharing my Super Bowl Appetizer: How to Make Roast Beef Sliders. If you’re looking for an awesome Super Bowl Appetizer Game Day Treat, this one is for you! Keep reading to see how I made this delicious recipe and how ours turned out!
When it comes to game day snacks, roast beef sliders are truly the MVP of the snack table. In the past, I’ve made these for friends and family, and they were a huge hit! In fact, I should’ve doubled the amount because they were gone in minutes. While watching the game on the screen isn’t really my thing, crafting delicious recipes for everyone to snack on is my love language. Without a doubt, these roast beef sliders are the perfect appetizer for football parties. With minimal effort, you’ll impress your crowd and score major points.
Ingredients:
- 12 or more slider buns
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp prepared horseradish
- 1 lb thinly sliced deli-style roast beef
- 6 slices sharp provolone cheese
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp finely minced sweet onion
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). First, slice the slider buns in half and lay the bottoms in a baking dish.
- Make the sauce: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and horseradish. Then, spread this mixture generously over the bottoms of the buns.
- Assemble the sliders: Next, layer the roast beef on top of the mayo mixture, followed by the sharp provolone slices. After that, place the tops of the slider buns over the cheese.
- Prepare the butter glaze: Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, sweet onion, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Brush and bake: Now, use a brush to generously coat the tops of the sliders with the butter glaze. Cover the sliders loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Once that’s done, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve and enjoy: Finally, let the sliders cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Trust me, your guests will devour them in no time!
In conclusion, these roast beef sliders are the perfect appetizer for game days. Not only is the combination of sharp provolone and zesty horseradish mayo the ideal pairing with savory roast beef, but the buttery, Dijon-glazed buns add just the right finishing touch. Whether you’re into the game or, like me, prefer to focus on the food, these sliders will keep everyone coming back for more!
