Super Bowl Appetizer: Easy Crab Artichoke Dip Recipe

Okay, we all love your typical artichoke dip. It’s freaking amazing. Would I ever have thought before to put crab in it??? NO. But oh wow was it a game changer for upping the level of tastiness in the artichoke dip world. This super crowd-pleasing dip can be put together in just 10 minutes! Talk about cheesy crab perfection. You’re whole house of guests will be raving about this one – I promise you!

Ok, I will admit that I don’t love watching football allll the time. But when it nears the end of the season, that’s when I feel like it’s fun to get into. I only have patience to watch when the stakes are high! It’s always the most entertaining that way, don’t y’all agree? Anyway, the Super Bowl is coming up and it’s a super fun time of the year to have friends and family over, indulge in some yummy food and strong bevys! I wanna hear all about who YOU have winning this game but first, I’m going to talk to you about Easy Crab Artichoke Dip – because that’s why you’re here right? Right.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (I used Primal Kitchen)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
  • 12 ounces lump crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded fontina cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Lightly coat a 9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray
  3. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream
  4. Stir in artichoke hearts, crab meat, 1/2 cup fontina cheese, pepper jack cheese, green onions and Worcestershire
  5. Season with salt and pepper
  6. Spread crab mixture into the prepared baking dish
  7. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup fontina cheese
  8. Place into oven and bake until bubbly and golden (about 20-25 minutes)
  9. SERVE, SIT BACK, & WATCH PEOPLE FALL IN LOVE!
