Doesn’t that food look glorious? It’s making me hungry just looking through the pictures.

  • For the waffles, I used the Kodiak protein waffle mix. Simple enough.
  • Turkey Bacon. I typically always buy in bulk at Costco. Saves so much money and it’s the thick yummy kind.
  • Fruit bowl. Fruit is always a good go to.
  • Biscuits. I used Callie’s Classic BiscuitBox from the infamous Callie’s Charleston Biscuits in Charleston, SC. The box contains two bags of Buttermilk Biscuit Mix, a jar of Carolina Honey with a honey dipper, Blackberry Jam, and Peach & Basil Jam as well as an embroidered napkin. Basically you’re set with this box and y’all there is a reason it’s so popular. They were delicious. The box also makes a great gift for the holidays and other options include a Confetti Biscuit Box and a Cinnamon Stickies Biscuit Box.
  • Scrambled Eggs.
  • Cornbread, also made with Kodiak cornbread mix in muffin pans.
  • Southern Style Fried Chicken. I used Cracker Barrel as an inspiration because they make the ultimate breakfast, except obviously I added some drinks. I always try to find copycat recipes from my favorite restaurants. I found this fried chicken recipe from Copy Kat food blog. It tasted just like our favorite homestyle Cracker Barrel chicken.
  • Hashbrown Casserole. Again using Cracker Barrel as an inso I searched for multiple recipes online and this is the one I found with the best reviews. The only thing I tweaked is I added a little parsley. Full transparency, this is not healthy at all but you could tweak the ingredients to make it a “healthier” version very easily.

Hands down best brunch I’ve ever had homemade outside of a restaurant. Big thanks to my stepmom for helping me create this.

THE DRINKS AND MIXES:

You can’t have a southern brunch with a mimosa set up. I filled our Revo cooler Party Barge (which is the best for entertaining) with a mimosa set of juice and Prosecco with fruit and also added in a ton of our favorite seltzers. You can also use the Revo Party Barge for a Tequila set up, Bloody Mary Barge etc and they are the perfect go to for events and parties. My friend even borrowed our for a birthday party with capri sun and snacks for kiddos. I love how it keeps the drinks insulated and cold while providing a fun station that is super convenient for the busy every day woman to set up. Great presentation, little effort. My kind of set up 😉

You can’t really do a southern brunch without a Blood Mary and Mimosa set up. We kept the mimosas super simple. Straight prosecco and orange juice but I also use cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, pomegranate juice and keep fresh fruit to top it off with.

Now onto the blood mary situation. I tried something new this time around. I’ve always been a vodka girl when it comes to mixed drinks but lately I’ve been on a huge tequila kick so I decided to experiment. Check out my Tequila Bloody Mary recipe here.

I love a good fall decoration and obviously at this time it’s fall so if you’re reading this in the summer, winter or spring just disregard the leaves and pumpkins but the rest will still work. I loved adding in Honey & Hank linen/cotton blend napkins because they gave it that special Nashville touch with the little guitars. She has beautiful linens and pillows of all different prints to take your home and tables cape to the next level. I clearly adore the Tennessee collection.
