If you’re anything like me, you aren’t getting any younger. (Insert crying emoji) I know, I know, that’s sad to hear. I have been playing around with a lot of different brands to see what works best for me and I know you guys love to hear the results and what is my favorite. So for today’s edition of Friday’s Faves I’m sharing one of my top skin care brands, Colleen Rothschild. First off let’s chat a little bit about Colleen Rothschild…she created her own line of skin care after spending decades working in the lab so I’d say she’s MORE than qualified and knows what she’s talking about. Since multiple skin concerns are addressed in her products, her products can be customized for your needs.
I shared their Clarifying Detox Mask a few months ago with y’all on Instagram and you loved it as much as I do. I had tried a couple of products along with it that I loved but wanted to try a few more before I spoke out on it. I always vow to be honest and talk about products I have actually used and liked or wait until I try them to give my fair opinion. Luckily for Colleen Rothschild inquirers I wasn’t disappointed in any of the items I tried. (no joke!) So let’s dive into it.

Radiant Cleaning Balm
Ok if you have followed me from the beginning, I have been obsessed with the Eve Lom cleansing balm ever since my best friend Jessica turned me onto it. It literally melts and dissolves the makeup off my skin. THIS is its twin sister but cheaper (can we say thank you Lord) So the key ingredients are Moringa Oil (it restores luminosity), Lipexel (it combats dehydration and we know that’s HUGE), Black Seed Oil (it gives antioxidant protection) and lastly Aromatic Complex (it calms and decongests). It will clean your face better than anything. Anytime I wear any makeup at all I have to go in with toner or micellar water to remove the rest and with this, I don’t have to do a thing. It simply melts it off and feels so hydrated. How do you use it? Ok so you put the balm in your hands and rub together to warm up the balm. Massage on your wet skin and put (hot) wet muslin cloth that’s provided over your face for a little steam facial. Then wipe off balm and bam, your skin is glowing.
Retinol Supreme Eye Serum
My problem area is my eyes and the rough part about that is momma can’t get botox there. I think you can get filler but I’m terrified to do that to such a prominent area on my face. Retinol is vital for skin regeneration and I love this serum because it still provides moisture that most retails don’t do. The key ingredients of the eye serum are Retinol (it boosts skin’s natural repair process with Vitamin A), THD Ascorbate (it provides antioxidant support with Vitamin C), Saliporine 8 (it improves skin moisture & elasticity) and Cityguard (it contours & lifts delicate eye area). I have been using this for months and have definitely noticed a difference in my crow’s-feet. I just recently took Colleen’s tip and have been putting it on my lip line so I’ll keep you posted in the gram about that. I’m a fan.
Retinol Supreme Night Oil
This Colleen Rothschild product is fairly new and I have been using it for a few weeks at this point. It’s key ingredients are Retinol (again boosting skin’s repair process), THD Ascorbate (which brightens and evens skin tone), Cotton Seed Oil (it nourishes skin’s moisture barrier) and Astaxanthin (it’s a reparative antioxidant). The Retinol Supreme Night Oil moisturizes with plant-based oils and helps fight age spots and dullness while battling skin extra issues. I love how hydrating it is and I wake up with a glow. It’s extremely easy to use, just a couple of pumps and you’re done. I have seen improvement in my skin in just a few weeks plus if you go on their site you’ll see it has 70+ amazing reviews.
Clarifying Detox Mask
Another 5 star winner by Colleen Rothschild. This mask is amazing. It removes trapped dirt and debris in your skin and the activated charcoal and clay detoxes your pores. I am obsessed with this y’all. It has so many wonderful ingredients to give you amazing skin. Skin will breathe a sigh of relief as the Clarifying Detox Mask removes trapped dirt and debris. It’s key ingredients are MicroSilver™ (which promotes clear skin), Charcoal ( it detoxifies skin), Glycolic Acid (increases cellular turnover) and Vitamin C (antioxidant protection). Even though it draws out bacteria etc it still soothes the skin. How do you use it: Apply a layer to face and neck, avoiding eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes, allowing mask to dry. Rinse then gently pat dry. Use 2-3 times a week or as a spot treatment as needed. My favorite part is how refreshed my skin feels immediately after as opposed to dried out like a lot of detox masks I’ve tried.
Salicylic Treatment Complex
Who thought in my 30’s I would be battling acne and breakouts? This treatment helps to refresh ace prone or troubled skin with salicylic treatment complex. It helps keep breakouts minimum and helps keep skin clear. It dried up acne spots without irritating or cracking my skin like a stone man from Game of Thrones. Key ingredients are: Salicylic Acid (promotes clear skin), Willow Bark (improves tone & texture to help decrease appearance of large pores) and Rosemary Extract (provides oil control). I use it as a spot treatment and also for large patches of skin to help with skin texture. Again it comes in clutch with stellar reviews.
So I have been nothing but amazed at the quality of Colleen Rothschild products. I cannot wait to try the other products to review for you guys. There is a reason their products get such impressive reviews.
