Hi festive friends! Today I’m sharing my NYE Cocktail Recipe Ideas: Champagne Shirley Temple! This is such a refreshing and easy cocktail to whip up for all your festivities this year. If you’re having friends and family over to watch the ball drop this year, I highly recommend making this cocktail. Keep reading to see the recipe as well as how ours turned out!
It’s that time of year where there is one party after the next, the drinks are flowing and life is just cheerful and happy. It truly is the best time of year where you get to start fresh and let loose. The days between Christmas and New Years are laughable. Nobody knows what day it is and it’s fully acceptable to drink a cocktail in the bathtub a 9am. Sorry not sorry! We’ve had a rough couple of years y’all and with us all getting the wonderful gift of Omicron for the holidays this year, there just are no rules this week. And that’s okay. Sometimes we have to remember to see light in all of the chaos! Let’s make the most of this last week of 2021 and get ready to ring in 2022! As far as I’m concerned, the years will just keep getting better. They have to right?
Check out this super yummy Champagne Shirley Temple cocktail recipe. Who doesn’t love Shirley Temples also? I literally grew up getting virgin shirley temples everywhere that I went with my family for vacation. My daughters love them too. This is a fun drink because you can make virgin ones for the kids if they want in on the fun too! Just be sure not to get them mixed up as we don’t need a bunch of drunk 9 year olds running around lol Its as simple as switching the soda for champagne 🙂
INGREDIENTS:
- crushed ice
- Pink Moscato champagne would be best IMO but regular champagne is fine.
- heavy splash of grenadine
- maraschino cherries for garnish
- orange slice for garnish
HOW TO MAKE:
Add ice to glass. Add moscato to glass along with the splash of grenadine. Top with cherries and oranges. Super easy and quick and your guests will think you invested some quality thought into this cocktail.
I hope you all enjoyed this super easy and delicious Cocktail Recipe: Champagne Shirley Temple just in time for NYE! No matter what your plans are the remainder of the week, I highly recommend whipping this little recipe up even if it’s just for you and your partner to enjoy. CHEERS Y’ALL! We’re almost to 2023!
