Just like most of us I feel like, I ate my feelings during the first part of quarantine and put on about 10 lbs. Trust me it doesn’t come off quite as quickly in your mid thirties as it did when I was younger. In addition to gaining a few lbs my body just isn’t as tight as it once was and that’s a hard pill to swallow as you age. You truly don’t know how it feels until you go through it. I have been really depressed looking at my body when you see something in the mirror you don’t recognize. I had heard about Trusculpt and decided to go for it when they asked me to partner. In terms to help us all understand: It is a nonabrasive procedure done in office with no downtime that uses heat to decrease fat cells and sculpt problems areas. Essentially the radio frequency energy heats and destroys pockets of body fat and your body eliminates these cells over the next few months.
Where can you do it in Nashville?
I went to SLK Clinic in the Nations area and the girls there were extremely nice and helpful there. She fully explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable the entire process.
Where can you do it on your body?
The procedure can be done on your abdomen, love handles, thighs, upper arms, back, under your chin.
How long is the treatment?
It actually went by pretty fast. Mine was maybe an hour to an hour and a half because I did a few areas but it typically lasts anywhere from 15 minutes to 60 minutes.
Does it hurt?
It doesn’t feel great but it’s also not super painful, mainly just discomfort. At SLK they were extremely zoned in at all times how I was feeling and took down the heat if needed depending how I was reacting. Higher temperatures typically generate better results if you can stand the heat.
When will I see results?
You would typically see results within 12 weeks of the procedure. The results are also permanent. You should exercise a healthy diet and exercise to maintain results.
How much does it cost?

End Thoughts:
Overall the experience wasn’t remotely painful like I imagined. You can see in the photos above that it leaves the treated area red for a few hours post procedure and also you get to wear the oh so lovely and flattering hammock bra. The least pleasant area was either the bottom of my stomach or my upper thigh. The arms felt fine and the chin didn’t bother me at all either. I’d say I am seeing the best results from the chin area.
