Like a lot of moms I’m sure, as soon as I found out I was having a little girl I envisioned us matching like twins. The only problem is I don’t really like a lot of the mom and me get ups… they’re just not my style. I found myself just finding Keatyn and I similar things so it wasn’t 100% matchy-matchy. Now I’m going to blessed with another girl and I can’t wait to continue the tradition.

I’ve realized if I just buy basic matching colors for us, I can build our outfits with accessories & shoes, etc. This year, I purchased Keatyn a few solid colored dresses from Old Navy and plan to pair them with cute boots and accessories like pictured above. A local boutique in Nashville (don’t worry you can shop online) called Hadley Rae recently started carrying children’s clothing. I love that they carry blanket scarves just like the ones I wear in the fall. Plus they have adorable women’s clothing that you can see examples of above. You guys have to check it out, especially you mamas, grandmothers, aunts out there! Oh and you get 10% off your first order. 

To feed my boho/hippie appetite I’ve found a place that sells mommy & me matching bell flares. I know, I know. I’m obsessed. Harlow Jade also sells cute vintage t-shirts for girls too 🙂
