Ok. This one’s for the Momma’s. So if you’re not a Momma, just scroll to the next blog. Today I’m introducing Comfortable & Cute Summer Outfits for Moms!
With summer in full swing and Nashville, TN having warm/hot weather well into the fall months, I thought this would be the perfect time for me to share this Summer Outfits for Moms inspo. If you’re a Momma, you know that it can sometimes be difficult to find pieces of clothing that we feel confident in! I am a firm believer in no matter your age, no matter how many kids you’ve had, no matter what you think your body type is or isn’t – you should feel confident when you look in the mirror!
A big part of this is of course fixing your mind set. Trust me, I have not always been this way. If y’all have been following my mental health journey, you know that I’ve struggled big with anxiety, depression, body image issues, and even borderline disordered eating when I was younger. Working on yourself can be extremely difficult, because it forces you to look inward. It forces you to see the dark parts of you and acknowledge things you may have been ignoring. It may feel crappy at first, but I’m telling you, you’ll start to see the universe A LOT clearer when you open your mind, heart, and soul to working on these insecurities and unconscious thoughts.
I’m sorry, I don’t mean to get all Buddha on y’all. I just feel like I had to mention how important it is to mentally feel good. Only then will you start to recognize what makes you feel good and look good on the outside! Now that we have that out of the way, onto why I’m sharing my Summer Outfits for Moms inspo. Just because we’re moms doesn’t mean we don’t want to look hot?! Sure, maybe it’s not appropriate to prance around in booty shorts and braless white tank tops. We don’t want you showing up to your kids friends birthday party with all the other moms wondering what trailer park you came from… KIDDING. But that’s why I’m here to share some super cute outfit inspiration with you! These are outfits you will look fire in, feel confident, that are appropriate, and will keep everything where it’s supposed to be.
