I genuinely love every single part of December and the holiday season. It warms my soul and it feels like it’s going by so fast which devastates me, especially this year. I wanna make all the fun holiday recipes with my kids and make the best memories possible for our family. I partnered with Tillamook on my Instagram to make a snowman ice cream and decided to jump outside the box for my recipe. I figured why just share it on Instagram when I can share it on my blog as well so here we are.
It was a project my kids were so pumped about because they got to eat ice cream as I tested it out our fun snowman ice cream.
A few tips:
- It’s ice cream and it melts fast so serve quickly.
- Have all of your ingredients ready to go to avoid as much melting as possible
- Use a larger ice scoop and I scooped ice cream into a Tovolo sphere ice mold to freeze to give it more of a circle shape for the snowman
Ingredients
- Tillamook Vanilla Ice Cream
- Mini Chocolate Chips
- Oreo Cookie (one side with no filling)
- licorice
- marshmallow
- M&M minis
Recipe
Just scoop out 3 ice cream scoops of Tillamook Vanilla Bean Ice Cream or Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream stacked on top of one another. Top with chocolate chips for eyes & buttons, a licorice scarf, M&M candy mouth, and a cookie topped with a marshmallow for the hat.
It is such a simple recipe but your kids will love it! Enjoy
