It’s that time of year where there is one party after the next, the drinks are flowing and life is just cheerful and happy. It truly is the best time of year and you know what that means right? Themed everything. Oh yeah y’all already know, it’s my time to shine. I live for this. One of the previous holiday cocktails that I made was a Winter Wassail Aperol Spritz Recipe CLICK HERE to see that recipe. You can also browse through as I’ve shared many over this past month! This weeks however is a classic! It simply just doesn’t feel like the holidays if you don’t have a little eggnog in your life. I know eggnog isn’t for everyone, but this recipe is GOOD y’all. Just try it!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
- 1 ounce amaretto liqueur
- 2 ounces almond milk eggnog (I used almond milk to make it a little healthier, but regular eggnog would be delicious)
- You can use ground nutmeg or cinnamon for garnishing & added flavor
- Cinnamon stick for optional garnishing
- Lily’s Baking Chips (Lily’s is a healthier alternative for added sweetness)
HOW TO MAKE:
- Fill a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vanilla vodka, amaretto, and eggnog
- Shake well for at least 20-30 seconds!
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and dust with nutmeg or cinnamon!
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick if you wish to add a little flare. Serve and enjoy! Cheers!
