Who doesn’t love pizza. I literally have never met someone that doesn’t at least like it. Have you? Sure, it’s not the healthiest thing you can put in your body. But if you’re looking for health inspo recipes, head to one of my other ones. Today we are talking alllll things bread, cheese, garlic, tomato sauce, and meat.
I have been really good about eating healthy for the most part, but I am a firm believer in cheat days. You have to have them! If you don’t, you’ll find yourself binging every time that you drink too much or forget to go grocery shopping. You have to treat your body and listen to how it feels. If you really listen, it will tell you exactly what you need. Whether it’s asking you for greens or for sugar. Whether it wants a little smoothie or a little wine. Listen to your body and don’t deny it what it needs! When your mind and body are in sync and you allow yourself to indulge once and a while, I think you’ll be a lot happier. So back to this cheesy yummy recipe that you’ll want for your next cheat meal!
INGREDIENTS:
- Pillsbury Pull-Apart Kit Garlic Bread (includes pre-cut dough & sauce pouch) so all you’ll need is shredded cheese and butter
- I used Pizza Bread Cheese (gluten-free) which you can get from Trader Joes
- 1 tablespoon of butter melted
- pepperonis + whatever toppings you would like
HOW TO MAKE:
- melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a small microwave safe bowl
- pour butter into oven safe baking dish
- add sauce pouch from the Pillsbury kit into baking dish
- unroll your dough from the Pillsbury kit and cut separate squares along pre cut lines
- place squares into baking dish
- stir until squares are coated with butter and sauce
- add pizza bread cheese
- add pepperonis to all or half of your dish (this would also be the time to add another other toppings that you may like) we just did half pepperoni half cheese
- bake in oven at 450 for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden
- let cool a little bit and then serve (If you like to dip your pizza in ranch, add a little bit to your plate and get to work! These are the perfect bite size for dipping)
