Easy Family Dinners: Cheesy Mac N’ Sauce Recipe

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my delicious Easy Family Dinners: Cheesy Mac N’ Sauce Recipe. This recipe is oh so nostalgic for me and most likely many of you… I know a lot of our Mamaw’s, Grandma’s, Mimi’s made it for us growing up and I love making it at home as an adult for a super easy family dinner recipe. Something about it warms your heart and gives you that ultimate comfort food feeling when you’re feeling low. Keep reading to see how our turned out and how we made it!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Chickpea Elbow Noodles (you can use any noodles but I used Banza brand Chickpea Noodles to make this a little healthier)
  • Tomato Juice or Tomato Sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Shredded cheese (whatever your favorite is – parmesan and colby jack are both delish)
  • Green Goddess Seasoning from TJ (optional but so delicious)
  • Butter

HOW TO MAKE:

  • Boil noodles
  • Drain noodles once cooked to your liking
  • Add about a tablespoon of butter
  • Add sauce/juice to pan
  • Add seasonings
  • Stir
  • Pour into serving bowl
  • Top with cheese and any garnishes you’d like

Optional: you can always add beef or plant-based beef should you like to add a little extra something!

So easy and SO tasty! Seriously 10/10. If you’re going to cook one last meal before you start preparing for Thanksgiving, this is a perfect easy meal with barley any clean up or prep!
