I don’t know about ya’ll but holidays are finally starting to feel real again. Remember last year like almost all of them seemed irrelevant because there were so many crazy things happening? I’m starting to feel normal and excited again about celebrating and honestly it feels really good. Being able to safely enjoy family gatherings again is something I’ve been looking forward to for so long. There is nothing I love more than seeing my fam on the holidays and getting together to eat amazing food, drink yummy beverages, and watch the kids run around. It is truly something that I will never take advantage of again! Time goes fast and life happens. Most importantly through all of the scary times, we recognize what matters the most. On that note – who is so excited for Easter?! Spring?! Summer???
Easter Charcuterie Board Ideas
As you all know momma has been on the charcuterie board train for awhile but its always for guests when they come over. As my oldest always says, “why do adults get all the fun?” If she only knew how untrue that was haha. Charcuterie boards have been hot for quite a minute but lately I’ve been experimenting with different versions of “boards” and one of my new faves is a dessert charcuterie board. Luckily this Easter I came up with some fun Easter charcuterie board ideas for my kids that my friends and I could nibble on as well when the kids aren’t looking. For my “Easter Board Ideas 2021 // A Fun Twist On Boards” inspo I decided to grab things from the store that were easy and inexpensive like Target, Walgreens or Walmart. You can never go wrong with those staples and I incorporated a lot of Lindt goodies because they have have fun holiday chocolates. (We currently have a giant Easter bunny I’m using for our centerpiece haha) I tried to mix it up with different colors and textures, lots of pinks, blues, yellows, and purples. Really all the pastel colors that make you scream for all things Spring, sunshine, green grass, and warm weather. Key points were trying to keep a balance of all the colors throughout the board like a tasteful pastel colored rainbow treat.
Not only is it fun to eat but it’s also a fun & creative adventure to involve the kids with. Keatyn helped me style the entire thing and she was so proud of herself. Make sure to check out the items I used below. Tomorrow I’m sharing another fun idea with all the Peeps.
