Covid Couture|| If You’re Gonna Wear Comfy Clothes During The Day, Let’s Make Them Cute
To whoever is wearing jeans during their quarantine, what are you trying to prove? If “athleisure” wasn’t a verified word before, it most certainly is now. I for one have been soaking up this incredible opportunity to LIVE in what I think is the best loungewear and comfies. Don’t get me wrong, I have my pjs that I sleep in of course, and then I just step into more “presentable” pjs when I get ready for my eventful day of social isolation. Picture like the matching top and bottom pajamas that you wouldn’t be caught dead in public wearing and then a super cute trendy two-piece loungewear set… which I’m currently all about. I’m also finally putting all of my different robes to use. Does anyone else have two different robes for like polar opposite temperatures? I personally enjoy my classic silky Victoria Secret robe for when I’m getting ready or just seriously overheating from chasing my children around. My thick Pottery Barn robe on the other hand makes me feel like I’m fresh out of an episode of The Real Housewives of Antarctica (not a real thing, but it should be). Anyway, we are in fact stuck inside until further notice, so why not be totally fully coze-mode at all times!? I mean we’re all really just trying to replicate how we felt in the womb right? Maybe that’s a stretch, but who are we kidding, we need all the support and comfort we can get right now.

I’m sorry, but I am a firm believer in clothes that make this possible. If you’re looking for some new loungewear cozies for your social distancing, there are a few brands that I absolutely love. A few of my favs include PJ Salvage (can be found online at Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus), Soma, Joah Brown, Chaser, ANYTHING from the cozy section in Target, and Z-Supply Clothing. The good news is they will be just as useful when this is all over too. When I do have to go out on a normal day or night, all I can think about it all day is going home and putting my sweats on.
