Holiday season is upon us y’all. Can you believe how quickly it’s approaching? I usually am a last minute shopper but this year I have been on my game. I have all of my wrapping supplies and have bought maybe 75% of my Christmas presents and have decorated my entire house. Some people are skiddish about decorating too early but I am that person who thinks it’s perfectly acceptable to start as early as 11/1. I have my core decorations I’ve had for years but when I want to add in new decor or stuff for the kids I opt for Dollar General Christmas Decorations. So what did I find this year?
Dollar General Christmas Decorations
This year we bought Keatyn a new bed that doubles as a playhouse and I’ve been dreaming of decorating it for the holidays and now that time is here. I found this adorable HO HO HO garland for $2! I added some pom garlands as well to complete the look. They also have the cutest stockings for only $2 so I used those for front of the house decor. Finally this Santa for $6 adds the perfect final touch to give K the coolest house on the block.
Ohhh and for cookies and milk, we got the Clover Valley cookies but if you wanna bake your own, they have a ton of budget friendly baking supplies in the store. You could also put the milk in one of these $2 adorable coffee mugs.
We also decorated the front door for a steal. I layered our wreath (find this one for $10) with this adorable wooden car decor for only $3!!! This is so trendy right now. The red truck and campers are everywhere but you won’t find them at this price anywhere else trust me. I added some cute holiday front door signs, a pinecone wreath for $10 and a super adorable holiday coir mat for $8 to complete the look. All for $40 dollars.
As for decor, a few other things that are a steal I’ve found are $1 mini nutcrackers, a mini red truck for $2, buffalo plaid bucket for $3, wooden countdown Santa for $4 among SO much more. Seriously I could go nuts in Dollar General.
Now, let’s chat gifts and stocking stuffers. We always get our stocking stuffers at Dollar general but we also buy our Christmas Angel gifts there. They have so much to choose from for your Secret Santas, family and friends. This to-go coffee mug is $1, dog toys for Piper for $3, toys for less than $8, candy canes for $1, PRO Strength workout gear you won’t find at this price anywhere else (my favorite are the resistance bands for $5). You can find your kid’s favorite name brand toys like LEGO®, Barbie, LOL Surprise, Disney, Fisher Price, Hot Wheels, My Little Pony, Lisa Frank…you name it. You can also find wrapping paper for $1 a roll, 2 pack tape for $1 and bags/boxes for $1-3.
** Also, when shopping, don’t forget to save more with DG Digital Coupons and check for pricing on the new DG app. It’s super easy to register, you just enter your email and phone number. I got an additional $5 off my purchase of $25+ on Saturdays in addition to saving much more on additional items by adding them to my digital coupons. Shop smart this holiday season and save money where you can! I linked everything I can so happy shopping friends!
