5 Fun Kids Charcuterie Board Ideas

Today I am introducing my 5 Fun Kids Charcuterie Board Ideas! I am so excited to share this with y’all today as you know that creating boards is a huge passion of mine!

If you all know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE creating Charcuterie boards! No matter the season, occasion, rhyme, or reason, you an always catch me in the kitchen with some meat, cheese, and crackers! You really can’t go wrong with a traditional charcuterie board, but I have had so much fun putting together seasonal boards without your typical ingredients as well! Some of the fun ones I’ve put together so far were for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter. What I’ve found through creating these less-traditional boards is that, why should adults get to have all the fun?!

My two girls enjoy the Charcuterie boards just as much as my husband and I do. They especially took interest in helping me put together my seasonal boards. I thought it would be a super fun activity for them to put together their very own. Not only did they turn out super tasty, but it also gave them an opportunity to get creative and use their imaginations! Today I’m sharing some super fun Kid Charcuteries Board Ideas. It would be such a blast to implement some of these ideas with your kiddos for any fun upcoming events at home this summer! I am going to include the links to the other fun kids boards I’ve created so far, but today I am focusing on the 4th of July since it’s our next holiday here in America! We just had Memorial Day, so this is relevant to that as well. If you’re planning to attend a lake weekend with friends, have loved ones over, or throw a pool party for the kids, I highly recommend using a fun treat board such as this! I had so much fun creating this and I will absolutely be replicating it this 4th of July! I can’t wait to hear what you all think!

General Variety of Kids Charcuterie Board Ideas:

  1. The Salty/Savory Board: string Cheese, nuts (as long as everyone is free of allergens) peanuts or almonds, pretzels (fun shapes), chips (can include different flavor Doritos, Lays, Cheetos, etc., popcorn
  2. The Sweet Board: caramel popcorn or popcorn drizzled with chocolate, dark & milk chocolate options, donuts, marshmallows, ice cream, M&M’s, trail mix, skittles (insert whatever your fave choice of candy is), ice cream sandwiches (if being kept in a cool environment), homemade cut and bake cookies or Oreos
  3. The Fruity Board: berries, (blueberries, strawberries, etc.), slices of green and red apples, pear, pineapple, etc., grapes, orange slices, you could even include a drizzle of honey on the apples and possibly sugar on the blueberries (really whatever sounds yum to you and your littles!)
  4. The Veggie Board: sliced cucumbers, celery sticks (coated with or without peanut butter), baby carrots – can also include pita bread triangles, pickle slices, and pepperoni to pair with goodies. It’s always fun to add little ramekins on the side with ranch, hummus, and other goodies for dipping
  5. The Holiday Board: This has become one of my new faves as I talked about above! It is so so fun creating festive charcuterie boards that are different from the traditional. There are so many fun events that you can personally customize your charcuterie boards. Plus, I’ve found that the kids take the most joy out of making these typically because they are more colorful and just more FUN! I highly recommend taking the time to do this with your kiddos for some of the upcoming holiday’s and events that you celebrate with family and close friends (safely)!
