Hello there fashionistas! Today I’m sharing my 2022 Spring Fashion Trends for Women to Watch Out For! As you know, we live in an age of fast fashion. It’s important to keep up with the trends as they are always changing! Especially throughout the different seasons. Keep reading to see some fashion trends that are predicted to take off this Spring season and some products that you can shop to get ahead of the game.
- Electric Colors: If you haven’t already hopped on the bright color train, you truly must be living under a rock my friend. Ever since the first season of Euphoria aired, we’ve gotten the memo that bright colors are going to be all the rave. Bright and bold are going to be IT all Spring and Summer long.
- Dark Denim: I have been a huge fan of denim ever since I can remember and have been building up an assortment of different shades in my closet for quite some time now. And if you’re a 90’s baby, well I’m sure you have some dark denim in your closet somewhere that you held onto. Time to bring it out! However unlike the 90’s medium wash jean that you picture, it is the sleek, polished, and put together denim that you’re going to want to look for this Spring.
- Skin-Baring Everything: This is a sad truth for us moms and not a trend that I think any of us should feel pressured to follow BUT I will say, a lot of you are hot a** moms and fully deserve to show off your body. I am all about women empowerment and body positivity. I think if you’ve given birth before and have worked your butt of getting in shape, then you show all the skin you want. There most certainly is a tasteful way to do it. But man oh man, we’re getting closer and closer to the way God intended we all roam the planet… naked. But thankfully we haven’t reached that yet. Hopefully that will be after our time lol. Below I’m going to be sharing some tasteful outfits that you can rock when the weather gets warmer, when you’re on vacay, or date night, etc.
- Luxe Staples: Whether it’s a designer bag, a high-quality sweater, a printed beautiful pair of pants that you only wear once and admire in your closet for the rest of time – these should be a part of your shopping mantra. Looking for beautifully crafted designer pieces that you can keep forever is a big part of what helps you value your wardrobe. Plus, if it’s a bag or something that doesn’t get too worn down, you can use it as an heirloom piece!
- All things Y2K: I’ve talked about Y2K fashion on my blog before and it’s just not going away y’all. I mean it is super cute. It’s basically a mix of everything I just talked about. Is everyone just obsessed with these Y2K trends?! I don’t know how we’re managing to rock these trends better than we did the first time around, but here we are. It’s just more tasteful now. In the true early 2000’s, there were a lot of us that still had some questionable hair and makeup looks going on. Now it’s like, we get the cool Y2K fashion, without the ugly hair and makeup trends. It’s just better now. Rocking Y2K fashion as a grown adult is a challenge that we’re all willing to accept, we just need a little guidance.
