I’m so excited, I’m so excited! I just can’t hide it. Just had to throw in a lil Jessi Spano for you for a moment. But seriously though, it’s fall FINALLY in Nashville and I wanna talk about some fall trends to obsess over. I wore a sweater every day this weekend and didn’t break a sweat once. There’s a pretty good chance that it will flip at any point in time though, but I’m still hopeful.
- Boyfriend/Loose Sweaters
- Distressed Knee Jeans
- Loafers/Mules
- Burgundy & Mustard
If you haven’t noticed boyfriend sweaters and distressed knee jeans are ALL THE RAGE this fall. Most of my favorite sweaters this season are clearly from one of the best brands around (pictured above). It’s like fall threw up on my sweater and I’m not mad at it. I’m a fan of the boyfriend cut or loose sweaters because they feel so cozy and I can snuggle up in it, which clearly I do since I basically lived in this one for 2 days. Let’s talk about distressed knees… now distressed jeans are no new trend but the ones circling around lately with the knees completely cut out are fairly recent in trends.
Pairing loafer/mules with cuffed jeans is my favorite way to rock them right now. I am sure I was one of many who were super intimidated by the mule/loafer trend. My first thought was “I have no idea how to style them.” I LOVED how they looked on everyone else but I just wasn’t sure I could pull it off. Now I’m hooked.
Ok colors. Some of the hottest colors for fall for clothing, accessories and shoes are burgundy and mustard. I absolutely love these colors for fall. Most people are scared of mustard, I even heard my friend Hunter say she couldn’t pull it off the other day but it’s surprisingly complimentary on most skin tones and hair colors. There are many more trending colors but these are my favorites right now because I feel like they scream fall!. What are your favorite fall trends?
